Friend’s House

Part of the East Whins Co-housing cluster of 25 households is the Friend’s House. Close to the heart of the Findhorn Park & Community, it lies towards the dunes and is surrounded by the hinterland, the Dancing Green and the Fire Pit, and within the Magic Triangle.

The Magic Triangle is an area within a triangle of natural energy points and a number of ley-lines also run through it. As well as the house itself, the cluster features a large common room with kitchen, laundry and drying room, library/meeting space, DIY workshop and bike shed, as well as the communal gardens. You can see images from the East Whins co-housing cluster on our East Whins page.

The Blue Angel cafe, the Universal Hall, and the Pheonix Shop, are all within easy walking distance and just minutes away. The Findhorn Village is also within a reasonible walking distance, and provides two excellent pubs serving a range of quality food, as well as the small marina with it’s own shop and cafe. Forres is within cycling or even walking distance for the fitter residents, although it is also served by a bus route which stops just outside of the park.

We are also in good proximity to Inverness Airport and have rail links from nearby Forres to Aberdeen and Inverness, and on to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London.
