“A social enterprise to steward the land and develop sustainable
community within The Park Ecovillage at Findhorn”.

Duneland Ltd came into being in 1997 when the Findhorn Foundation Community was offered to purchase the adjacent Wilkie Estate. Since then the company has dedicated itself to the three core objectives of protecting beautiful and sensitive dune and maram grass land, developing the Ecovillage at The Park and creating community benefit through all aspects of its work.

We are currently consulting with the Community looking towards the next phase of development in North Whins where residents can feel part of a vibrant community whilst developing their own unique eco-friendly properties to build and live in a sustainable future.

A couple of years back Duneland employed a drone to give you an aerial view of the development at West Whins and its surroundings. To view the footage click on the link DunelandDrone1 below. Development as shown was current as of the middle of February 2016.

Duneland has achieved many of the goals set and is in the very dynamic and inspiring phase of putting the houses on the land which the community has envisioned there for almost 3 decades. The video below will tell you about the background of Duneland, the community from which it came, and its work over 15 years,
